Commission Options

 

There will be different types of commission available. Currently we have paper, stickers, ornaments, and bookmarks. The mediums currently used will are a mix of water-based and alcohol-based markers.

Coming soon will be keychains, magnets, charms, paintings, and sculptures.

Commission Terms & Conditions

 Commissioned Artwork Definition: A client hires an artist to create a piece of custom artwork based upon the clients request.

General terms: Price subject to vary depending on demand. The client will need to either email at Arlathia1@gmail.com or DM on Instagram @arlathia_ for commission specifics and to send reference photos if necessary. We are allowed to reject an order for any reason

Payment terms: USD only, Paypal or bank transfer, Commissions paid 100% upfront, No refunds or cancellations once commission has started

Process/delivery terms: 2-12 weeks depending on size, complexity, amount of characters and/or products and other work and personal life, Will send physical product(s) once completed and if requested, can send in scan/PDF

Revisions: Only available during sketch/pencil phase, Once line art completed, no more revisions allowed, Colors can be changed until the coloring process has begun. Once coloring has started, no color revisions allowed

            Copyright/usage

                        I, Arlathia LLC:

  • Reserve the right to cancel and/or refund the order at any time for any reason.
  •  Retain rights of the creation of the artwork and the client cannot sell the artwork created by Arlathia LLC. Arlathia LLC reserves the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio as well as in publications such as art books.
    • Arlathia LLC will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork (your characters are still yours, the references still belong to you, etc.) or profit further from the commissioned artwork unless you (the client) break any of the terms.

    You (the client/commissioner):

    • You may upload the commissioned artwork on your personal website and personal social channels as you retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP) of the contents of the artwork to showcase and share the artwork.
    • You may NOT make profits from the commissioned artwork (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services, making prints for selling, etc.)
    • You may NOT alter or use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes of the commissioned artwork without Arlathia LLC’s expressed written (the artist's) consent
    • The following is considered copyright infringement:​ Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially - means making money off it in any way not excluded from these terms In some cases, the commercial rights to the image may be purchased­), Claiming the artwork as your own , Altering the artwork without my consent
    • Cancellation/refund: The buyer is not allowed a refund once I started working on the commission. If you cancel your order before I started it, you can get a full refund. If for any reason I am unable to start your commission you will receive a full refund.
    • Paypal specific: If you are getting a refund, do not request a Paypal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself. If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund you will lose all beforementioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply Paypal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.
